Reno Ali'ioaiga Liaiga Anoa'i
As the youngest boy of six children, Reno was naturally attached to HIS mother’s hip as she guarded HIM from the shadows of the passions and lives that HIS older siblings had already begun to lead and love for themselves. Determined to grant HIM the liberty to find my own voice his parents allowed him to dip his feet into several different fields of work, many of which he's become deeply passionate about. At a very young age he was able to explore the ins and outs of visual and performing arts, community and cultural activism, and youth and music ministry, ultimately allowing his mind to flourish in a sense that it was aware of the many endeavors that his Samoan people and community had endured and continue to endure to this day.
As a Samoan-American living in diaspora, Reno finds it important to utilize his God-Given gift of music to spread love and awareness for his beautiful Polynesian people around the world... in hopes that it might allow them to feel more comfortable in expressing themselves and sharing their unique gifts as a contribution to OUR PEOPLE, OUR COMMUNITY, and OUR WORLD.

RENO IS CURRENTLY FINISHING UP A BACHELOR OF ARTS DEGREE IN CRITICAL PACIFIC ISLAND STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI'I AT MANOA, WHERE HE PLANS TO UTILIZE THIS DEGREE TO CREATE CURRICULUM AND SPACE FOR OUR PEOPLE IN ACADEMIA AND TO MOBILIZE OUR COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT DIASPORA.

AS A CONTESTANT ON THE NATIONALLY TELEVISED SHOW, AMERICAN IDOL, RENO UNDERSTANDS THAT THERE IS A LACK OF PRESENCE AND AWARENESS OF WHO POLYNESIAN PEOPLE ARE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND HOPES TO UTILIZE THE PLATFORM OF MUSIC TO SHED LIGHT ON THAT.
